i have pretty bad pain in the arches of my feet, but definitley more severe in my right foot. my arches are on the low side, i know that much and i am planning on eventually getting to a doctor. but do you know of any good home remedies that could help for some temporary relief? the pain is pretty bad right now. thanks!

 

It sounds like you may be suffering from plantar fasciitis. This is an inflammation of the fascia on the bottom of the foot. Start by icing 15 minutes every hour. Perform stretches for the achilles tendon which attaches to the bottom of the foot. I like and have had good results with what I call the “golf ball exercise“. Get a golf ball and sit in your favorite chair. Then massage the bottom of your foot with the golf ball for 10-15 minutes several times per day. Natural anti-inflammatories like enzymes are excellent to take down the inflammation. If conservative approaches such as these do not give you relief, then I would try laser therapy and physical therapy.”

I was in a severe car accident early last year. I have been in & out of doctors visits, seen a chiropractor, gone to physical therapy, excerise a few days a week and taken pain killers for the pain in my back and yet it still hurts like hell. Do you know of any home remedies or over the counter joint medications? Any and all suggestions will help.

 

Enzymes are great for taking away pain and inflammation. You need to take these on an empty stomach. Find a good blend of bromalain, papain, etc. EPA/DHA fish oils are also nice anti-inflammatories. You may want to try Laser therapy or acupuncture.”

LOWER BACK PAIN? IS THERE ANYTHING KIND OF FRUIT OR VEG TO EAT?

 

Great question! Back pain is caused by inflammation. Eating an anti-inflammation diet would be beneficial in eliminating or reducing the pain. Stay away from meat, dairy and shellfish. These are all pro-inflammatory for the body (they increase prostaglandins that promote inflammation). Eat alot of fruits and vegetables. Pineapples have papain which are nice anti-inflammatories. Cold water fish, i.e. cod, tuna, etc. contain oils that take down inflammation as well.

Having stiff back neck pain.Any home remedy suggestions?It’s too painful for me when I sleep and even when i sitting on computer?

 

Sitting is when there is the most pressure on the discs and spine. Get up every half hour and walk around. Use a lumbar pillow to suppport the lower back. This will help tremendously. Doing the cat stretch exercise before bed and when arising will loosen the spine and discs. At night the discs are like sponges, they increase their water content and it swells. Doing the stretch, pumps the disc and spinal fluid.
