<blockquote>I would use plant enzymes such as bromelain and papain instead of the anti-inflammatory drugs. The drugs will cause more arthitis in the long run, decreasing your bodies ability to produce new cartilage cells. Omega-3 fish oils can also take the inflammation down and help with the pain.

I am a teen and i work at a fast food resturant cahier and package food and i stand for 6 – 8 hours a day and when i come home the back pain is killing me can anyone give me some remedies please

I would recommend that you seek evaluation from a Chiropractic Physician. Find out what may be causing your pain. Conservative approaches are always the best place to start. Medications and injections with only mask the symptoms and cause further damage. Your body is trying to tell you that something is wrong by giving you pain, find out why. You may also want to get on a good back exercise program, use ice after work, get a good pair of shoes, wear a back brace (not all the time). Try to figure out if certain movements at work or activities may be aggravating the condition and try to modify that.”

I have been dealing with back pain/issues since 2003 I don’t want to have anymore surgery done. I have an inversion table and a spinal cord stimulator implant that helps with the pain (or should I say has in the past helped.) I’m not doing so well right now. The oxycodone my doctor prescribed to me isn’t agreeing with my body. I don’t like taking it. Any herbal/natural suggestions??

It depends on what type of surgery you have had. I would first start by doing a liver cleanse for three weeks. Then a good nutrional program focused on an anti-inflammatory lifestyle. Also, work with your MD to get you off the meds. Other conservative approaches such as acupuncture, massage and Chiropractic may be beneficial. We use the Class IV laser on these types of cases with great success.
