Can one be "apprenticed for chiropractic"?

Ummm, no. Chiropractors receive the same length of training as a standard Medical Doctor, minus the residency requirements. 4 years of pre-Med and 4 years of Medical School. There is no easy road. You might consider becoming a Physical Therapist instead. 4 years of Pre-Physical Therapy and 1-2 years of Physical Therapy School. Many schools offer a 4+1 option.

There are many excellent chiropractic doctors in your area. If you are looking for a real deal. The National University of the Health Sciences is in Lombard. They have 4 clinics in the Chicagoland area. Search NUHS on the web. They are the best chiropractic university. They have the best facilities. You are worked on by interns with supervision by highly experienced doctors. The mosy important things are that these people are excellent at diagnosis and you will get chiropractic and physical therapy at a price that cannot be beat.
